Bikes have been started. Everything seems fine, we´ve done our homework.
First training is expected saturday 26:th.
2010 was a good year. The many meetings in Sweden and Norway meant improvements.
Also, good help from Mats Ohlsson, Lars Rosberg and in Norway from Aage Hansen.
This year I´ll take another step up with my debute in "Allsvenskan" for "Gnistorna Speedway" from Malmö. I´ll also do Division 1 for "Nässjö Speedwayklubb" and as it seems yet another tour in Norway.

May 23; Season 2011 so far...
A month into the 2011 season. A few races, some tech issues initially, but looks like we´re seeing the light now. Also had a few stints in sidecar racing in Denmark, Germany and Netherlands. Sidecar racing is exciting, however time is tight so that will probably have to go. Had a showcase the other week at Swedol, big tools shop, to talk speedway and chase new sponsors, with some succes.
Workshop sunday and monday, training tuesday and a meeting in Div 1 on wednesday.

April 26; Wagenfeld Ostertraining 2011
Got a bit of sidecar racing this year as well. Following a soft start on Skovby in Denmark - 600m of sand, dirt and stones turning left, we went south to Germany. Each Easter they arrange a huge training event on Heidering sandtrack in Wagenfeld, "Wagenfeld Ostertraining" - solo bikes, karts, juniors, sidecars and what have you, including a fantastic party ending with fireworks we´ve never seen anywhere. And - any daredevil on the racetrack, famous or not is a hero down there. In the middle of all is the ever caring sunshine, Franz and his whole lot of nice folks keeping things running.
We stood up desantly against the european pro teams, so I think we could have had a fair chance if we put in a little extra efforts and pro attitude. Anyway, I went for it to get better and have some vacation - mission accomplished!
Back in Sweden doing Div 1 for Nässjö. Tough fight meeting Målilla. Lookd good on training laps, but lost engine power in first heat. The new silencers gives us problems. No luck on our side, so congratulations to winner Målilla.
Going to Joure in Holland for sidecar racing on grasstrack may 21. Great!

Green light 1, 2, 3... tape up - Thank you Swedol in Kristianstad. We had the locals nicely exposed to speedway and Joel. This Swedol Showcase was a great kick off to turn people to our exciting sport.

Troubleshooting today, training tuesday, regular bike service and then div 1 with "Nässjö" meeting "Crossbone Pirates". Then on Saturday sidecar on grasstrack in Holland.

Sat june 4, Div 1 with "Nässjö" against "Smederna". We lost against "Indianerna Jr", everyone fought hard, but wasn´t enough. Too few races in the beginning of this season, in my opinion and shared by many. Training in "Nässjö" cancelled because of heavy raining. Malmö tomorrow instead, perfect. Here´s a pic from last year meeting "Indianerna Jr" which we won, I scored 8 + 3 that time, inspirational. Meeting big sponsor "Consulting Dilot" on friday, just taking a day off. See you!

June 5; "Nässjö" conquered "Smederna"...
Exciting race today. Seconds counts, and letters, which both teams collected. Joel had a stop in his first heat, seconds before a smed driver went down and wasn´t on in the re-start. A second more and we could have thrown in the other bike. But "Nässjö" won.
Seven hours on the road, up early for service routine, then troubleshooting. Tuesday training in Malmö. We´re achieving tempo.
Wednesday june 8, Joel once with "Nässjö", this time against "Tigrarna".

Another tough meeting, we won with hardly no marginals - 1 point. Feels good, think I´m getting somewhere. All efforts give a result.

July 19; Time out in racing, vacation and training
Training with "Solkatterna" in Karlstad last week, Malmö today, Målilla tomorrow. Big thank you to team managers and marshalls who makes it possible. Bikes are getting an extra overhaul. And then some well served vacation. Coffee with grandma, swimming, meet friends not involved in racing. Try to get my Opel of 1962 ready for saturday auto historic event.

November 30; "Solkatterna" 2012
Time for a change, breath in some fresh new air. After a 2011 with too many problems (not gonna bother you with that story), we now charge the batteries and take on next season´s work. An important part in this is signing with "Solkatterna". I was up training with them and also did a meeting with them. I enjoyed Karlstad and look forward to next season with these cats. "Solkatterna" won Div 1 this year, no losses on the way. I´ll probably also do a stint in Norway next year.
Now we have the usual work on bikes and equippment, getting it all in shape, and we are still hunting sponsors! We say welcome to new sponsors and those who keep supporting me. We have some nice deals to offer, no charity if you don´t insist!
